Thrilling Comments from Readers

Now that Love So Amazing: The Missionary Biography of Bert and Colleen Elliot has been available for a couple months, it is thrilling to hear comments from those who have read it. Here are just a few:

“What struck me was the power of forgiveness. It resonated so strongly. Not once did Bert and Colleen in spite of a great deal of physical hardship, ever complain. They were doing what they were called to do, serving the Lord. That is the heart message of your book to me. They lived a full, happy life, filled with the knowledge that they were following God’s will. You told their story well.”
J.V.D. from New York

“You have done a wonderful service for the church capturing the history of these two faithful servants of the Lord. Many of us have been somewhat acquainted with their service…but we did not know any of the details. What a blessing there is in learning some of the details of their long lives of faithful service! It is important for our generation to learn of these contemporary heroes of the faith.”
B.D. from New Jersey

“What a lovely tribute to an amazing couple and servants of the Lord.”
S.B. from Vancouver, Washington

How Ordinary People can Share Christ

Ed Stetzer interviewed me last Saturday on his show on the Moody Radio network. He has a passion for missionary biographies and knows the Jim Elliot story very well. It was a privilege to introduce him and his listeners to Bert and Colleen Elliot.

Listen to our conversation. The interview starts a couple of minutes into the broadcast.

Special Sisters

These two wonderful ladies provided motivation for me to complete Love So Amazing. Aunt Jane Hawthorne and Aunt Joan Benz, sisters to Bert and Colleen respectively, urged me to finish the book while they were still alive. Mission accomplished!
