It is so exciting and encouraging to hear comments like these from my readers about Love So Amazing!
“I enjoyed every page and was thrilled with some laughs, wiped away some tears and was enthralled with being able to visualize so much of all of their activities. It was a little sad to come to the last page last evening as I sat in our backyard watching the sunset and the ending was so powerful. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into documenting these true heroes of the faith.”

“It enriched our lives to have available to us this insight into Bert and Colleen’s life. We knew them well during our time in Peru…but there were large areas of their lives and service that we had no insight into. You have blessed us greatly and led us to praise God and seek to draw nearer to Him as we have read your book.”

“Uncle Gilbert, I’m halfway through your book. I love it!”

Dear Brother Gleason,
I just finished reading your inspiring biography of Bert and Colleen and it brought back many fond memories of them and their work for our Lord in Peru. We had the privilege of working with Bert and Colleen on the northern Peru coast for a number of years.
We had a print shop in Lambayeque (about 9 miles north of Chiclayo) and Colleen stored her piano there for a time since the humidity in Yurimaguas was damaging it. When they came to the coast during the low water season on the jungle rivers, she would often play it. We had the ONLY print shop in Peru with live piano music!
Many thanks for your great work! — Bob and Mary Marsh
Bob and Mary,
Thank you so much for your encouraging email. What years were you in Peru? They had many memories of their times on the northern coast. Where are you living now?
