I’m excited to share the news that Love So Amazing: The Missionary Biography of Bert and Colleen Elliot won the Oregon Christian Writers Cascade Award for an unpublished non-fiction book! I attended their writers’ conference for the first time in 2019 and found it helpful and encouraging. The opportunity to network with other writers, agents, and publishers was tremendous. I walked away with my heart filled.
It was especially meaningful that Matt Mikalatos helped present the awards this past Wednesday evening. I attended his workshop at that conference. He gave me key pointers for my book and motivated me to persevere in completing it. It is now published!
